ASK-LOM-AP Tool available at Sourceforge

ASK supports "open source software" and makes available through the Sourceforge Web-Site(the world's largest open source software development web site), the ASK-LOM-AP: A Web-Based Tool for Development and Management of IEEE LOM Application Profiles. The ASK-LOM-AP Tool is available at: http://sourceforge.net/projects/asklomap/ and support the process of developing and managing IEEE LOM Application Profiles for different educational communities. It also incorporates the ability of educational metadata authoring based on a produced IEEE LOM Application Profile.

ASK-LOM-AP will be presented this July in ICALT 2010 10th IEEE International Conference on Advanced Learning Technologies to be held 5-7 July in Sousse, Tunisia. For more information please see:

ASK supports "open source software" and makes available through the Sourceforge Web-Site (the world's largest open source software development web site), the ASK-LOST 3.0: A Web-Based Tool for Social Tagging of Learning Objects.



ASK – Learning Objects Social Tagging 3.0 (ASK – LOST 3.0) Tool is available at: http://sourceforge.net/projects/asklost and support the process of social tagging of any type of digital educational resources by offering facilities for authoring and managing both tags and resources.



ASK – LOST 3.0 is an upgrading version of ASK-LOST 2.0 presented in:

ASK Co-Organizes Summer School on "Exploiting Mobile and Wireless Technologies in Technology-Enhanced Lifelong Language Learning"

ASK co-organizes a Summer School on "Exploiting Mobile and Wireless Technologies in Technology-Enhanced Lifelong Language Learning (TeLL)" that will be held in Athens, Greece at 22-27 August 2010, in collaboration with Doukas School S.A. The Summer School is addressing Foreign Language Teachers and Trainers interested in TeLL. The description of the Summer School is available at: http://ec.europa.eu/education/trainingdatabase/index.cfm?fuseaction=DisplayCourse&cid=22393. Participation to the Summer School is fully funded by the Comenius - Grundtvig Programme, although a limited number of places is available. Teachers/Trainers who are interested to attend should complete the Application Form and send it to their National Agency until 15th of January 2010.
