Author Guidelines

We invite the submission of original papers reporting high quality new academic or innovative industrial research in the area of Advanced Learning Technologies. All papers will be blindly peer-reviewed by three (3) reviewers. Abstracts or incomplete papers are not included to the review process.

Preparing Manuscript

The anticipated types of submissions are:
  • Full paper: 5 pages
  • Short paper: 3 pages
  • Posters: 2 pages
  • Doctoral Consortium paper: 2 pages (First Author must be a PhD Student)
  • Workshop paper: 2 pages

These page limits include authors' information, abstract (no more than 200 words), all tables, figures, references, etc.

Important Note:  Authors' information should be included ONLY in the camera-ready version of the manuscript and NOT in the initial version. However, during the preparation of the initial manuscript, authors' should leave a number of empty lines at the beginning of the manuscript, so as to include authors' information during the camera-ready manuscript submission

Authors are required to follow: IEEE Conference Publishing Services Formatting Guidelines

The authors of accepted papers will be required to complete a copyright form at the time of camera-ready manuscript submission.

All submissions will be reviewed on the basis of relevance, originality, research significance, technical quality, organization and readability.

Manuscripts should be submitted in Word or RTF file formats. In case, authors are using Latex, PDF files are acceptable if they are formatted based on IEEE Conference Publishing Services Formatting Guidelines

Camera-Ready Manuscript Preparation and Submission

The ICALT 2010 proceedings are published by the IEEE Computer Society Publications. Therefore, their conferences publication services (IEEE CPS) will contact all ICALT 2010 Authors with confirmed registrations to inform them about the procedures of their camera-ready manuscript submission and the IEEE copyright form.

The following page limits must be observed while preparing the camera-ready manuscripts:

  • Full Paper: 5 pages

  • Poster: 2 pages
  • Doctoral Consortium Paper: 2 pages
  • Workshop paper: 2 pages
