WORKSHOPS

The workshops at ICALT'07 aim at providing a wide international forum for researchers to present, discuss and explore their new ideas, work in progress and project developments within several focused areas of interest and within the overall scope of advanced learning technologies.

The workshops are intended to provide an informal interactive setting for participants to address in small focused groups current technical and research issues related to the main conference topics.

Following workshop proposals have now been accepted:

• IWoM3C: 2nd International Workshop on Machine-Mediated Multimodal Communication[by Adel Elsayed A.Elsayed@bolton.ac.uk & Roger Hartley J.R.Hartley@education.leeds.ac.uk]
• WALTD: Workshop on Advanced Learning Technologies for Disabled and Non-Disabled People [by James Ohene-Djan j.djan@gold.ac.uk, Marion Hersh m.hersh@elec.gla.ac.uk & Donal Fitzpatrick]
• EDM'07: Educational Data Mining @ ICALT 2007 [by Joseph Beck, Toon Calders, Mykola Pechenizkiy m.pechenizkiy@tue.nl & Silvia Viola sr.viola@gmail.com]
  

All workshop papers will be published in the online workshop proceedings edited by the general workshop chairs (full papers: up to 10 pages).

Moreover, position papers (2 pages long) will be published in the main IEEE proceedings.

Please note that that normal duration of the workshop is of 2 hours, including breaks.
