the conference venue can be reached by walking distance.
The Banff Park Lodge Resort Hotel and Conference Centre is quite good.
If you want to have lower price options, you could use the Bow River (http://www.bowview.com),
which is just next to the conference venue.

to locate all hotels in Banff. If you check both Hotels & Motels and Lodges,
the number 7 should be the conference venue, Banff Park Lodge Resort Hotel,
the number 10 is the Bow River Lodge Banff, the number 13 is Shadow Lake Lodge
and the number 18 is Homestead Inn, they are all quite close to the conference venue.
Some hotels might offer the residents complimentary wireless internet connection while others might offer paid wi-fi. Moreover, some complimentary/paid wireless internet connections might cover a certain area. The wireless connection in the conference venue is around $10 per day.

Individuals are required to reserve their guest room from one of the reservation agents using the hotel's direct line 403-762-4433 or our toll free number: 1-800-661-9266. Please be aware that special requests for specific room types cannot be guaranteed, but the hotel will make every effort to honour each request.
ON-LINE WEB SITE RESERVATIONS:
Attendees can click on the web reservation form directly OR use the ID # 11118 and Password # 37004733 to make (and change) their reservations by selecting Reservations and clicking on the Make a Conference Reservation. The room price is offered by the conference venue for the participants of Edutainment 2009, the rooms are limited. Please be advised that most of hotels utilize a yield management system that varies rates according to demand and room availability, therefore, we can't never guarantee you the event price is lowest.
PARKING FEES
Indoor parking is designated for registered hotel guests. A daily parking charge is not included in the
guestroom rates and parking fees are subject to change. The Banff Park Lodge parking charges are $8.00
per day for self parking and $12.50 per day for valet parking, plus GST.
CHECK IN / CHECK OUT
All delegates must be advised our check-in time is 4:00 p.m. We will do our utmost to assign rooms as
they become available to any delegates arriving prior to that time. Check-out time is 11:OO a.m.
Luggage may be stored at no cost with the Concierge should guests arrive prior to rooms being ready, or if
meetings will continue after check-out time. Requests to retain rooms after the check-out time should be
directed to the Front Office Manager on the day of departure and are subject to a late departure charge. |
